About the Event
In this 1.5hr experience, you will journey into your inner world, to find greater connection with your body and subconscious. We will begin with movement, you’ll then be introduced to the simple breath technique, and supported on your 30-minute journey with spoken guidance and evocative music. There will be time at the end to share experiences. This will be a more gentle journey as we are not together in person, but the effects and insights can still be profound.
- Receive insights from your subconscious and inner world
- Increase your creativity and expand your world view
- Experience energetic flow in your body
- Release stress, anxiety and emotions that have been held in the body.
Breathwork is a powerful way to expand your consciousness, and to embark on a journey of self-exploration and inner healing. Control of the breath has been used by many ancient and indigenous cultures for healing and spiritual development. In the late 1960s, when research in psychotherapy using LSD and other psychedelics was banned, researchers turned to these traditional breath practices to create an altered state of consciousness in their patients. They were surprised to discover that the effects of breathwork could be as powerful as those from mind-altering substances. Now, an understanding of the power of the breath is spreading into modern life, led by figures such as Wim Hof and writer James Nestor.
